Religious Education
At Hollycroft Primary school, Religious Education is taught using the high-quality guidance and resources provided by NATRE (the National Association of Teachers of Religious Education). This approach supports pupils in developing a thoughtful understanding of a range of religions and worldviews.
Through engaging lessons, discussion and enquiry-based learning, children are encouraged to explore beliefs, traditions and values from different faiths and cultures. Using NATRE resources helps ensure our curriculum is balanced, inclusive and relevant to life in modern Britain.
Our aim is for pupils to develop respect, curiosity and empathy as they learn about the diverse beliefs that shape our local and global communities. Religious Education at our school supports children in reflecting on their own ideas while appreciating the perspectives of others.
